Tron Lightcycle/Run
Tron Lightcycle/Run will NO LONGER be using Virtual Queue, you can purchase a LL Single Pass OR use the Standby Queue. Expect 1 hour waits or more. Guests will either head to Tron or Mine Train for Rope Drop…with Tron being the biggest draw!
The NEW Island Tower at Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
Projected to open on December 17. Booking NOW! Here’s a little more information about what’s to come:
Wailulu Bar & Grill: This casual walk-up pool bar will feature an all-day menu for lunch and dinner that is influenced by the Polynesian Islands’ local and indigenous ingredients. Specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries will be available for breakfast. This dining spot will have indoor and outdoor seating areas and a bar space overlooking Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom Park.
Moana’s Voyage, a whimsical new splash area that will feature life-size sculptures of Moana and her iconic canoe from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film. The tower will also be home to Cove Pool, a brand-new zero entry pool.
Guests staying at the Island Tower addition will enjoy exclusive access to four tropical terrace gardens. Each terrace garden will feature vibrant artwork, lush foliage and uniquely themed seating areas. These private nooks will offer picturesque views of Disney’s Oak Trail and Magnolia Golf Courses or Seven Seas Lagoon, making it a spectacular place for the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
A NEW Disney Villains Show is debuting next summer!
This live production will feature a reflective realm of the Magic Mirror with appearances by dozens of villains ie. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook & Maleficent. This wicked show will be located at Sunset Showcase which is currently home to Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy (which will CLOSE October 7, 2024).
Disney Movie Insiders Program is ending December 4th, 2024. Sad News, friends.

If you didn’t know, this is my favorite Moderate Resort. 
Wow! Here’s what I’m loving: the sliding doors to the vanity area, the new glass shower door, the cute little sofa with the table, that big dresser and the pretty backboard/headboard. FYI: some rooms will have walk-in showers not tubs…so that’s worthy to note, for requests. Not a big fan of the “new color palette” but alas, those just aren’t my fave colors.
What do you think?! Okay, now who’s ready to book a stay?!
Bldg 1 is complete. The remaining buildings will follow with projected completion by end of the year. That means availability will be limited at this resort and new rooms will be tough to come by until 2025. FYI: There are 7 buildings at POFQ.

The Holiday Season Arrives at Disneyland Resort November 15!
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Disneyland on November 15, 2024.
- Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail pursuit will debut at Downtown Disney District, where guests can search for special ornaments hidden among the holiday trees and shining lights adorning the district. (From November 22, 2024, to January 1, 2025)
Beginning November 19, “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” will delight guests at Disneyland Hotel. 
NEW Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will serve holiday-themed meals, accompanied by seasonal décor and select characters donning new pajamas.
All three Hotels of the Disneyland Resort will feature festive fun, including a massive gingerbread house inspired by pastries and candies on display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and all-new décor at Pixar Place Hotel.
Holiday-themed Food, Drinks and Merchandise- “Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular, which will perform nightly at Disneyland! 10 Haunted Houses. Insidious seemed to be the most popular…wait time reached 95 min later in the night! But, Slaughter Sinema & Ghostbusters were fan favorites, too. Overall, lines are very long, 60+ min wait! Express Pass is $$ pricey, $190 for last night. Another amazing option to consider if you plan to go: RIP Tour!

- Disney’s Animal Kingdom: October 24, 2024; November 21, 2024; December 10, 2024; February 12, 2025
- Disney’s Hollywood Studios: January 26, 2025; September 1, 2025
- Disney California Adventure Park: February 3, 2025
- EPCOT: April 30, 2025; July 17, 2025
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon: May 20, 2025; June 9, 2025; August 11, 2025
These complimentary events feature shorter wait times for popular attractions, special character meet-and-greets, and complimentary treats. Registration is required, and spots fill quickly, so early sign-ups are encouraged. Modifications and cancellations are allowed, but members should cancel at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing their spot. Moonlight Magic is a rain-or-shine event.
